Cases, Prevalence and Treatment of Low Back Pain at Bandung Pain Rehab

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is one of the complaints that affects almost every aspect a person's life, urging many patients to come for treatment. The incidence LBP in Indonesia estimated between 7,6% and 37%, but it still precisely unknown. A clinician must be able make an accurate diagnosis treat according etiology. In this study, we aim determine distribution prevalence, demographic data, success treatment order help clinicians management reduce global burden.
 Methods: This was descriptive analytic study with cross-sectional design. research conducted at Bandung Pain Rehab Center (BPRC) clinic from July 2019 December 2021. We included all complaining low who came BPRC. data were taken medical records. therapy interventional (IPM) non-IPM groups assessed by comparing VAS values before after Statistical analysis performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program Wilcoxon test.
 Results: Of 704 patients, majority female (59,2%), aged 51-60 years (23,6%), obese body mass index (54,4%), worked as housewives (35,5%). most common etiology piriformis syndrome (50,9%), followed sacroiliac joint arthropathy (18,5%) lumbar radiculopathy (14,8%). IPM groups, there significant decrease intensity (p <0,001).
 Conclusion: Our shows age years, gender, classified obese, working housewife. Piriformis prevalent LBP. use both showed improvements alleviating experienced patients.
